Keep Juuno Running on Amazon Fire Stick
If Juuno stops playing after a few hours on your Amazon Fire Stick, you may need to disable certain settings that pause playback automatically. Adjusting these settings helps ensure Juuno continues running without interruptions.
The Amazon Fire TV Stick is no longer recommended as a Juuno player because it doesn't reboot after a power down.
Turn off “Still Watching”
Press the Home button on your Fire Stick remote.
Go to Settings (gear icon).
Select Preferences.
Choose Data Usage Monitoring.
Find Still Watching and turn it Off.
Adjust the screen saver
Go to Settings.
Select Display & Sounds, then Screen Saver.
Choose Start Time.
Select Never, if available. Otherwise, choose the longest available delay.
If you don’t see these options, skip this step and continue below.
Check the sleep setting
Some Fire Stick models include a sleep setting that can interrupt playback.
Go to Settings.
Select My Fire TV or Device & Software.
Look for Sleep and turn it off, if that option is available.
If you don’t see a sleep setting, skip this step.
Check your TV’s settings
Check your TV’s power settings too. The TV may turn off its screen even while the Fire Stick is still running. Using your TV remote, look under Settings for options like Sleep Timer, Auto Power Off, or Power Saving, and turn off any setting that’s causing the display to shut off.
Relaunch Juuno
After changing the settings, open Juuno again.
