Understanding Screens Features

What is Presentation Mode?

Presentation Mode is a screen-level setting that changes how your content plays. When enabled, scenes on that screen do not advance automatically—you must manually move to the next scene, like advancing slides in a presentation.

What Presentation Mode does

When Presentation Mode is turned on:

  • No auto-advance: Scenes do not automatically move to the next one after their duration ends

  • No boundary looping: When you reach the last scene and try to advance, the player stays on the last scene (instead of looping back to the first)

  • Manual control only: You must manually advance each scene

By default, Presentation Mode is off—your playlists cycle automatically through all scenes and loop continuously.

How to check if Presentation Mode is on

To see if Presentation Mode is enabled on a screen:

  1. Go to app.juuno.co/screens

  2. Click on the screen you want to check

  3. Look for the Presentation Mode toggle

If the toggle is on, your screen will not auto-advance content.

When to use Presentation Mode

Presentation Mode is useful when you want full control over when each scene appears, such as:

  • Live presentations or meetings

  • Interactive sessions where you discuss each slide

  • Displays where you want to hold on content until you manually advance

For typical digital signage setups where content runs unattended, keep Presentation Mode off.

My playlist isn't auto-advancing. Is Presentation Mode the cause?

If your playlist seems stuck on one scene and won't advance to the next, Presentation Mode may be enabled on that screen.

Check the screen settings:

  1. Go to Screens and click the screen in question

  2. Check if Presentation Mode is toggled on

  3. If it is, turn it off to restore normal auto-advancing behavior

Presentation Mode is a per-screen setting—enabling it on one screen does not affect other screens.
